The majority of the research that we have put into this task has mainly been composed of watching a variety of opening horror titles:
Zombie land- althought this is more comical than horror there were some very good slow motion scenes used during the titles, this gave the graphic scenes more depth to it especially with the spluttering blood.
i tried to incorporate this into my movie but in my opinion we didn't have enough visual effects (fake Blood) and it would of clashed with the suspense of our movie.
Dexter- this is a t.v series but still has a pretty good title sequence. The shots chosen in the titles are very interesting close ups focusing on specific objects, which portray different murder tactics.

A little shaving cut with a glimmer of blood on the white sink puts into contrast how the scene looks, it starts to look more and more like a horror film. As well as the blood red text that also shows the horror film context.
Delicatessen- this movie title sequence intises the viewer as the camera focuses on specific items like books, ledgers. which has a really spooky old feel to it. The titles are done very well as they're engraved on to the items.

Camera=director
Ledger=Producers
Label on clothing= Costumes
blairwitchproject- In my view i find this to be the most inspirational movie for our particular movie titles. As we plan on using the same camera shot techniques (point of view).
low budget film. like paranormal activity. the concept that really stood out to me about this film was the realism of it by using a handy cam camera like our own. Alot of our scenes were very similar such as the woodland scene and the cellar scene
